Privacy Policy
GDPR and CCPA aligned data protection commitments.
1. Scope of this policy
Liberty Express Logistics LLC ("we") processes personal data in order to quote, book, transport, clear and deliver shipments. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and the rights you hold over it.
It applies to this website, our dispatch and customer-service channels, and to shipment documentation handled on our systems.
2. Data we collect
Shipment data: shipper and consignee names, delivery and collection addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, contents descriptions, declared values and customs identifiers required by law.
Account and enquiry data: the contact details and message content you submit through our quote and contact forms.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed, collected to secure the service and diagnose faults.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not collect special-category data unless a customs authority requires it for a specific shipment.
3. How we use your data
We use shipment data to perform the transport contract, to produce customs and airline documentation, to provide tracking updates, and to handle claims. Our lawful bases under GDPR Article 6 are performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure logistics network.
We send service messages about your specific shipment. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and every marketing message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
5. SSL encryption and security protocols
All traffic to and from this website is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher with modern cipher suites and HTTP Strict Transport Security enabled. Data at rest in our systems is encrypted, and access is restricted by role-based permissions with mandatory multi-factor authentication for staff.
We log administrative access, review permissions periodically, and maintain an incident-response procedure. In the event of a personal-data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights, we notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours and inform affected individuals without undue delay.
6. Data retention
Shipment and customs records are retained for seven years where transport, tax and customs law requires it. Website enquiry data is retained for 24 months. Technical logs are retained for 90 days. After these periods data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
7. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and disclosed, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing — noting that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email libertyexpresslogistics475@gmail.com or call +1 (332) 216-6406. We verify identity before acting and respond within 30 days.
